- Our Finance Services
Financial Programs & Services
Our Financial Empowerment Programs are designed to help individuals become financially capable, credit-ready, and confident in their ability to make informed money decisions. Whether you’re rebuilding credit, opening your first bank account, or learning how to manage a budget, D&E is here to guide you every step of the way.
Banking Access & Financial Inclusion
D&E’s Banking Access Initiative empowers individuals who are unbanked or underbanked to join the financial mainstream. Through education, counseling, and partnerships with banks and credit unions, participants gain access to safe, low-cost checking and savings accounts.
Our workshops and programs — including How to Become Bankable, Get Checking™, and Right Start Banking — teach the fundamentals of managing money, understanding banking services, and using credit wisely. Participants leave equipped to:
Open and manage a bank account responsibly
Build positive banking relationships
Access affordable loans and financial products
- Break the cycle of reliance on check-cashing or payday lenders
Since its inception, D&E’s banking programs have helped thousands safely transition to traditional financial systems, creating long-term stability and opportunity.
