How Pathway to Homeownership Works
1. Pathway to Homeownership provides Residents of Center Creek homes with free credit counseling and group education from D&E.
2. D&E will help the Resident set up a savings account into which they’ll need to put at least $25 a month to receive a savings match.

3. The Resident can get up to $2,500 in matched savings for down payment assistance and up to 3% of closing costs depending on how many on-time monthly rental payments they make.

4. The minimum time before Residents can purchase their home is 2 years (24 months) but Residents will have 36 months to purchase their home once they enroll in P2H
Length of the Program
The minimum time before Residents can purchase their home is 2 years (24 months) but Residents will have 36 months to purchase their home once they enroll in P2H.

If a Resident does not complete the P2H program, all money saved by the Resident in their savings account is theirs to keep, and they can withdraw it at any time.
Resident can also remain a Renter within Sylvan Homes and the Center Creek Portfolio.
